Personalized Ear Hats

I'm getting too caught up in all the personalized hat discussions and not really finding an answer to my question. So we're headed to the world at the end of September as a surprise trip for our Daughter's 7th birthday. Obviously, we want to get her the yellow birthday ears hat which can be readily found on several websites except Disney Store. We're also keen on replacing the pink princess ears had that was lost our last trip somewhere between POFQ and Denver International Airport. Again, we've been able to locate this particular ears hat at a few online retailers but not at DisneyStore.com.

My question is if we purchased both hats prior to arrival, would we be able to get them personalized/embroidered at the parks and if not would either of these hats be available to purchase at the parks and therefore personalized at time of purchase?

I don't know about buying them and then getting them done there, but...

my father ordered the birthday ears for my son's birthday from the disney store and they came personalized, so that can work.
also, each park has a hat store and they will personalize them there if you purchase them. we stopped at “The Chapeau” on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and got my baby neice to be some pink mickey ears. they have a big selection of hats there. i have seen both hats you're looking for there.

Thanks for the info. I guess I was thinking that if they weren't offered on DisneyStore.com then they wouldn't offered in the park. Silly, I know. Also, my wife reminded me that we purchased her princess one then had it embroidered there on a subsequent trip without any hassle. In the end, we're planning to surprise her about the trip by giving her the birthday hat just before we leave for the airport so we will have to acquire that before hand.

Try calling Walt Disney Merchandising Mail Order at 877-560-6477. They are open M-F 9am-530pm EST. Tell them EXACTLY what you are looking for and what store you last saw it in (The Chapeau on Main Street, Magic Kingdom.) They will do their very best to get it for you, if at all possible.

Keep an eye on the Disney Store. I ordered a pair of those exact ears for my son from there back in May. They come in and out of stock all the time.

Yes, you can take your hats, as long as they're new, to the shop and have them personalized. I would recommend the Christmas store in Downtown Disney. They do the personalizing there, and are not usually that busy.
