I've just had a catalogue sent to me which has a range of personalised Disney items in it - lunchboxes, clocks, stickers etc all in Disney princesses, Nemo, Toy Story or Winnie the Pooh. Can I post details in case anyone is interested in getting hold of a copy?

They're called 'identity direct'. No website I'm afraid because orders have to be sent by post but the number to request a catalogue is 020 7510 0166.
They also do Disney story books, placemats, mugs, height charts and cutlery. DD is not adjusting to normal life since our trip and the last thing she says to me each night is "I wish I was back at Disneyland". I'm getting her the Princess placemat and stickers to cheer her up. :yay:

I can do all the textile-embroidery personalization myself! About two years ago, my parents bought me an embroidery machine (Brother 3000D) with a Disney-license (yes yes yes, about 100 Mickey and Pooh-designs built in my machine + I bought many extra embroidery cards with all kinds of designs!) and so I can personalize all things in textile with monograms and Disney-things!

I have already made many towels, bith for ourselves as to give as presents, and I am trying to find time to personalize a bathrobe for myself. I want to put a large design of Belle + Beast dancing (ballroom-scene) on the back with the Beauty and the Beast title above it. On the front, chest-height, I want to have the same design as on teh back, but a smaller version, and on the bottom, I am going to put CogsWorth, Mrs. Potts and Chip, Lumiere and whomever more of those characters I have on the disk!

I also have the software to digitize all kinds of designs myself. Once in a while, I donwload pin-pictures from the Disney auction site or other Disney-clipart, and then I make an embroidery design of that myself. I know, it's copyright infringement, but... I like my cooking Mickey and Dumbo-in-bathtub and Dumbo-hanging-to-dry-by-his-ears nevertheless!

PS: for those who think "I want that too because Disney-stuff you buy is expensive": There is NO way I'll ever get my money's worth out of that embroidery machine + all teh extra's I bought (digitizing software, extra embroidery cards, dozens of colours (thread), ...) It's a nice thing to have if you like this as a hobby, but it's not at all cost-efficient, especially since you can only use it for "personal" use, and you are not allowed to commercialize it (yeah, right...)

Have just ordered some personalised Micky Mouse labels!

:sunny:

Well done for finding the website. I didn't bother checking because I presumed they'd have put it in the catalogue if they had one. I shall do an online order now I know.
The bathrobe sounds impressive because I'm terrified of textiles and sewing machines. I've just been looking at a Disney knits book that someone has donated to the school knitting club I run and there are some good patterns in there that I might try for the children at some point.

I have also a book full of needlepoint (?) designs of the Fab Five. I have used hose for other things too.

If someone wants more info about them, PM me...
