Well... I also would like to say THANK YOU HULA!! We were in DisneyLlama's room last night and Hula came in after the event time also and gave us all our ears that we had been hoping and praying for. And then there she was
Oh I could not be it! For me .. she..Hula made my day! I had never won anythign for a host before...and I felt like since I had never won anything before in the game or real like..I wouldn't get... But did decided I would still hang out and make new friends...and that I did! Plus I got my dreams Ears... Plus there was soooooooooooooo much Lag... that I was afraid that Hula didn't see that i was trying to Thank Her... so this is another way for me to tell her Thank You again...( if she reads th boards) And besides I thikn it is really nice of Hula to kep giving after the event..isn't that what Disney is all all about..."Where Dreams come True"" ? Thank you Hula!!

The problem is this is not following the rules. Staff need to stick to the rules and stop making exceptions for some and not for others. I saw Hula outside of the Dreams and despite this she did not extend the courtesy of exception to us. VMK needs to tell staff to follow the rules and keep it fair. Hula is known for making exceptions which help her image as a "sweetheart" host. Fin is the real sweetheart because she is fair and plays by the rules. Yes it was nice of Hula but what about the rest of us?

OK Hula is trying to be nice...I think she has heard so many complaints from those that have not gotten Dream stuff that maybe she is "thinking outside the box" and trying to get stuff to people? When it happened to me she was in that room a good ten minutes handing out ears and shirts as fast as she could, and by asking us to leave so others could get in...she had to have handed out at least thirty ears....All I can say is, YAY, HULA and way to go!! Keep up the good work!!

I'm afraid I must be overlooking it, for I am seeing no specific times on the newsletter. Also, it never stated that ONLY during those hours can they be given out.

Also, Hula could be a Host the volunteered for over-time to give out more dream items in order to complete their over-all goal.[/FONT]

Pink, the explanation of Dreams month is on the homepage. If you click on the newsletter section it brings up the page where it explains the whole thing.
Next to the trading cards announcement, it says VMK Dreams Month on the right hand side of the screen. Click read more under that and it explains how this works. Also the times are listed in the calendar - specific times for the events. And you're right, I don't think it was ever stated that you can only get prizes during the events hours, but the hosts have said that they have to stick to the schedule and follow the rules they were given.

Do you always have to be negative. I haven't seen staff one time this month, and do you see my getting mad. No. Just be happy that someone else got something. Maybe you'll get visited and get something.

VMK.com says Dreams Squad do certain hours like 8-11PM. And only during those hours and by those 3 people are Dreams done.

Erm ... not quite.

• Our program randomly places Host in certain places at certain times, in addition the VMK Dream item they give is generated by our system – so specific requests cannot be accommodated.
  
  Host do not know their Dream Squad assignments in advance - so please don't ask them where they will be or what prizes they are awarding, as even they do not know until it's time to award that Dream.

So, that means that it was arranged ahead of time for Hula to give out prizes at times other than those given in the newsletter. Either that, or she's hacking the system. :}


By the way, if Hula is the rebel, and Phinny is the sweetheart, what's Lil? The ugly one?

Thanks to Hula and my daughter I finally got my Dream ears last night shortly before closing.

I had given up for the night out of frustration but since my daughter would be using the computer for homework, I asked her to just sit me in a room somewhere and I would eventually DC.

My daughter knowing how much I wanted the Dream ears (in real life as well as on VMK) decided to walk my little character around a bit. Shortly after entering a Tiki room she saw people calling out Hula! Hula! Not knowing what that meant she continued standing in the doorway until Hula asked politely that she move.

I heard a yell for MOM! and came running. Hula was asking who didn't have ears - and the rest is history!

So a big shout out to Hula (GO CHARGERS!) and my lovely and lucky daughter Megan (I LOVE YOU!).

Shortly after the 10 minute warning before closing, a group of us were dancing in the castle forecourt. I looked up and Hula was standing there commenting that only one person was wearing dream ears (me). She went about fixing that situation by giving everyone dream ears and shirts. We all changed and finished a wonderful night dancing 'til close! Thanks so much Hula! I hope you had a chance to put your feet up and rest after another busy day making dreams come true!

THANK-YOU HULA!! I believe! I have ears! I am so Happy! You made my week not seem so bad, after all the waiting! Hugs! Thanks for all the work you are doing in vmk this month, to try and make everyone's dreams come true! Just know everyone appreciates everything you do!

A friend invited me to a room & I thought I had missed you (I had been in the queue). I arrived in the room right about the time you were leaving & I was sad, because I thought yet again, I had missed out!!! To my surprise, you put those cute little ears into my inventory.

A few days later, my sweetheart received his ears from you along with our friends!!!

I want to thank you so, so much for my new pin - I love it. Also, thank you so much for giving MyKitty ears -- it was so nice of you to gift them just as you were leaving (remember, she was the one who mistakenly clicked out of Snow White's Hide & Seek Forest, NE). Unfortunately, I did not know that it was the pin she wanted -- I didn't know that she already had ears. I hate to sound ungrateful, because I'm not, but I feel awful since it was my mistake. I don't know if you could do anything to grant her a pin, but I thought it was worth a shot to ask.
