personal mister no batteries requied

I bought this neat mister at CVS tonight and thought I would share with everyone since the heat has already started! It is called the Cool Blast Misty Mate. It lets out a shot of mist just like those fans that they set up in the parks. I paid $7.99 on sale, mistymate also has them on their web site for $14. I like it because it is pretty small, about the size of an electric toothbrush. No batteries required, all you do is pump the bottom 10-15 times to create pressure and then press a button at the top and a fine mist comes out. Just fill it with tap water... a water fountain in the park. Pretty cool!

Cool. That sounds like a great item! I bought 4 of the ones like in the park at Walmart on clearance for 99 cents each. We use rechargeables. I can see a definate advantage to using ones like you talk about though, as our batteries pop out on a regular basis due to them being cheap chinese-made plastic junk. I wish they were made better (exact replicas of the Disney ones) but for what we gave, considering they've been taken about 12 different trips so far, I cant complain!

BJ's sells them in a 3 pack for $14.99. I bought a pack for our upcoming trip and after my daughter saw them we had to go back and by some for her August trip. It's a great deal.
