Personal Budget Software

I am looking for software that is good for budget and is pretty simple, does anyone have any suggestions?

Look at mint.com. It is easy to use. I saw it recommended on one of the online news sites but I can't remember which one. They gave it good reviews and said it was safe and free! I haven't used all the features because I have my own system, but it seems like it would do the trick. Can't hurt to see if its something you could use!

Same here! Once you get something set up, it's easy to keep going with it. I don't even upgrade to the newer versions since they took away the online access to my bank accounts. The older version (2002) works great!!

Another vote for quicken! I absolutely love it, so easy to use. My kids say I am addicted!

I just downloaded Dave Ramsey's forms and while there was a little bit of a learning curve I am really liking them so far. Of course these are meant to be used with his program to get Debt Free but you could use them just as easily without doing the program.

Same here! Once you get something set up, it's easy to keep going with it. I don't even upgrade to the newer versions since they took away the online access to my bank accounts. The older version (2002) works great!!

Don't upgrade!!! I was running Quicken 2000 and for some stupid reason felt compelled to upgrade to 2007. I like 2000 much better!

I completely agree! I loaded a newer version and converted some of our old files and hated it!! I went back to 2002 and love it! Unfortunately I can't unconvert the ones I changed so now I have 2 version of Quicken installed on my computer! Oh well, I just have to keep them separate.

Yes, yes, yes to both of these. I did upgrade to Quicken 2007 from 2000. I really liked certain aspects of 2000 better, and since I never do an automatic update from bank accounts, I should have left it. Little things (like a 1 click "enter"). I'm used to the 2007, but if you can find Quicken 2000, you are golden!
