person w/pin arriving late.. question

OK, If I am going on a trip with a friend, who booked the room using a PIN code, but they are arriving a day later (yet we are rooming together), will this pose a problem at check in-if I am listed on the reservation, and so are they..OR, does the person with the PIN need to be the one checking in?

As long as your name is on the reservation, you'll be all set to check-in...they do not ask to see any documentation that lists your pin code.

Unless something has changed, the official policy is that Disney can ask for ID at check-in to validate your discount code. In all my trips, none rack rate, most on pins, I've only been actually asked once. I think it depends on the CM. I've heard of others being asked too.

I also thought the lead had to be there to check-in, but I'm not at all sure on that. I've always been the lead on the reservation. Maybe someone else with more experience...??

ok-thanks for the info-sounds like I may want to contact Disney just to be sure-it would be terrible to be without a room for the night because my friend had not arrived yet. Thanks for the tips and experience.
