OK, If I am going on a trip with a friend, who booked the room using a PIN code, but they are arriving a day later (yet we are rooming together), will this pose a problem at check in-if I am listed on the reservation, and so are they..OR, does the person with the PIN need to be the one checking in?:confused3

TIA-I'll check in later for any suggestions

As long as your name is on the reservation, you'll be all set to check-in...they do not ask to see any documentation that lists your pin code.

Unless something has changed, the official policy is that Disney can ask for ID at check-in to validate your discount code. In all my trips, none rack rate, most on pins, I've only been actually asked once. I think it depends on the CM. I've heard of others being asked too.

I also thought the lead had to be there to check-in, but I'm not at all sure on that. I've always been the lead on the reservation. Maybe someone else with more experience...??

ok-thanks for the info-sounds like I may want to contact Disney just to be sure-it would be terrible to be without a room for the night because my friend had not arrived yet.:lovestruc Thanks for the tips and experience.
