Magical Express from the airport for sure (do have transportation to parks). I'm not certain about dining plans as I haven't stayed there.

Dining plans are only for the Disney-owned resorts. So, not available at Swan/Dolphin or the Disney Springs hotels.

You will lose the 180+10 ADR advantage but maintain the 60 day FP+ advantage.

Swan and Dolphin Guests ARE able to send Purchases back to their Resorts just like the Disney-owned Resorts.

There's a daily resort fee, a parking fee, and you pay extra for a cancellation policy. It's why I never stay there.

I love Swan/Dolphin. If we want to stay in the EP area and the WDW resort rates are too high, S/D are our go-to resorts. We never use DME or a dining plan anyway. Never really need the 180+10 advantage and don't park a car there, so it works out well for us. If you join SPG (which is free), you also get better rates. A few years ago, we did a fairly last minute trip in December and, because S/D was running some promotions, I was able to get 3 nights at the Dolphin for the cost of one night at BWI!

I recently booked a package (room and tix) through Costco Travel, saved me a lot of $$ AND it includes the resort fee and an upgrade to "resort view" room. The previous two visits to Dolphin, I booked through SPG when they had really good discount codes but I just couldn't find anything this time that came close to the Costco deal.

We did buy Magic Bands on our last trip which was a few years back and we intend to use them again in May. Once we switched from Disney deluxe resorts to S/D we honestly didn't miss anything. Love, love, love the location! Good food options. Nice pool too.

I missed having a Disney style food court. Plus, staying at the Swan, you have to walk over to the Dolphin to take advantage of what they have the runs close to a food court.
