Perkins supports Give Kids the World

I don't know if anyone has already come across this and posted it but I just found it myself.

On March 21, participating Perkins restaurants will give away free made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes to guests dining in the restaurant on that day. In return, guests can consider making a donation to Give Kids The World.

Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization that provides week-long vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their deserving families at a fanciful, “storybook” retreat in Central Florida.

Perkins Restaurant and Bakery has supported Give Kids The World for nearly 20 years. Since their partnership began, Perkins has raised more than $10 million dollars for the organization, through the generosity of employees, franchisees and guests.

Perkins Pancake Day is available only at participating locations. Valid for one free short stack. Promotion and times may vary by restaurant. Sales tax, if applicable, must be paid by customer. For a limited time only at participating restaurants.

Is Perkins big in Florida? I'm in Rochester, NY and I have one 2 minutes from me. I guess that means I should make it a point to attend!!

YES! They are friends of ours! Corey's brother is my son's best friend. Corey's story is just awesome - had half his brain removed due to seizures since birth. He is doing great as you can see from the video you posted.

I'm going in the morning and hoping Corey and his mom will be able to join me. I'll see if Corey's family can get me a few pictures to share with you all.
