We did do this in Dec. 2005. It is ALOT of money. Would I do it again, not for the $200. DD(5) was very surprised but I think if you can smugle a way for Aurora at a princess meal to give your DD a doll dressed like Aurora you've done the same thing for less money. That being said the Dolls were $50 at the parks, Princess clothes were $25 for the doll, so you would already be out $75 plus the cost of the meal. So maybe $170 by the time you both eat and buy the doll. And we got the braclet (lost already) and scrapbooking papers at the tea. The food was blaugh! DD didnt eat anything but some apple juice pretend tea. She got bored with Rose Petals show quickly and hated the cake. Basically this was as much for me as her, so I could have the pictures and the mommy and daughter time. She thanked me more for the Wonderland tea party afterwards than the princess tea.
I would rather see Disney price this around $100, skip the tea and have Aurora show up with a basket of dolls for the girls to adopt. Part of my blaughness was due to pushy parents with their kids to be crowned and meet aurora and Rose petal. Excuse me but we all paid $200 to be here, not just you! It was cute, just not sure I would advise someone they HAVE to spend $200 and do this!!!!! Sometimes anticipation is better than the actual event and maybe that was my problem as I kept it as a surprise for DD. If you do it have a great time, if not dont feel like you really missed out on something. Search through others posts and pictures to get a better idea.
