Perfectly Princess Tea Party Question

I was wondering about your experience. Do the princesses come around to everyone's table like with other character dining? What happens with Rose Petal? I'm asking b/c my daughters will be 5 and 3 on our next trip and I'm thinking about taking them. However, we took them to CRT on our last trip when they were 4 and 2. Granted, we took them the morning after we got there--after a full day of travel the day before. We had to wake them from their sleep b/c our ADR was for 8:30 am. They were pretty grumpy. My oldest didn't want to talk to any of the princesses (she's really shy). SO I'm not sure if it would be worth it. Anytime after that, any time we saw a character, in the park or at a restaurant, she asked if they talked. As long as they didn't, she wanted to go see them .

My real question is did anyone's child not enjoy it? Also does anyone have any complaints about it? I know it's expensive, but other than that. Would you do the BBB instead? I'd appreciate the feed back.
