Perfect FJ wait time?

This has been really helpful - thanks for all the info clarifying the different lines! :thumbsup2

I was reading my Universal guidebook and I read that the Tour line and the Regular line meet up at the portraits of the founders, just before Dumbledore's office. So you skip the dungeons, the greenhouses, the house points, and the entrance to Dumbledore's office. Gotta love guidebooks!! I would suggest going through the regular line first and then the tour if you want because you do get to see some other portraits if I remember correctly.

From what I understand after the tour you can go into the single rider line if you want to ride. I'm thinking about doing the tour when I go so I can take some "sirius" pics.

They'll only let you go into the single rider line if the line is short enough. In the summer, when the SRL sometimes get all the way down into the dungeons, it may not happen.

Remember, if you can hop on over to the SRL from there everything you have with you must be small enough to fit in your pocket :thumbsup2

I'm just wondering because I thought I read it somewhere but don't they have a little compartment or like mesh bag thingy in the back that you can put something in on FJ? I have a bigger (better) camera than I have had on other trips. It's not a pocket camera. I can hold it but I don't think they'd let me. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry that's a little :offtopic:.

There's a small compartment in the back of the seat, but it's only about the size of a paperback book. The only camera that could fit in it would be a pocket-sized one. If your camera is an SLR it'll need to go in a locker.

Okay thank you! This is why I'll be needing the tour.
