Peppermarket - Vegan friendly?

Hi. We are staying at CSR this summer. I know there are not many vegan options on the menu. I was wondering if any vegans have had good experiences there and what in particular was good.

Do they only have premade salads/sandwiches or can they be made to order?

I guess there aren't too many vegans around.

The menu doesn't have veggie burgers, does anyone know if it is possible to get one there?

Hello....
Just back Sat from CSR and did not see any Vegan choices..... That does'nt mean there were'nt any though. They have a nice salad and sandwich bar and I'm sure they could make you up a good salad I had a chicken ceaser one night and it was so good! The chicken was in a seperate section that they added so you could have it plain if you want. They had an asian section that had rice and eggrolls too. I did see a yummy tomato and mozerella sandwich at Boardwalk bakery so it may be worth it to head over there for lunch one day. I hope you are on the dining plan because CSR id totally overpriced and is only affordable if you are on the plan.

Hi. Yes, thankfully we will be on the dining plan. I know that Peppermarket is expensive, especially for a counterservice meal.

I am happy to hear that they make salads and sandwiches fresh there. I am sure that will work out fine. Most of our meals will be in the parks, where we already know where the best vegan finds are. It's only the occasional lunch that we will probably be having at Peppermarket.

OMG- I was just curious as to what their menu has to offer. It is really SLIM pickins for you

I am ovo/lacto so at least I can do cheese- you can't even do that. Be careful, b/c sometimes even some of the veggie burgers contain cheese.

You might be able to do a veggie fajita- and a salad.

You are right, the pickins are slim. I can make things work, if they will make things with ingredients on hand.

Veggie fajitas would be great, especially if they have a side of whole pinto beans and some guacomole.
