I noticed that a 10% gratuity is added every time you eat at the Pepper Market at CSR. Is this covered under the dining plan as a counter service meal? Is the gratuity covered as well? Or is it considered only a table service? Thank you in advance!

I was wondering the same thing. We'll be staying at CSR soon and plan to grab some quick meals there. In the 2006 Disney Dinning Guide the Pepper Market is listed as a Quick Service (counter service) restaurant and as a Snack location as well.

Pepper Market is a CS restaurant for MYW Dining. The desserts are basically limited to cookies and muffins. Unlike other resorts snacks are limited to what's on the Disney brochure. No cookies for snacks.

There are no entrée limits, you can get the rib eye steak. It's a great CS restaurant if you're on the dining plan and staying at CSR. If you don't have a car and aren't staying at CSR I'm not sure it's worth taking Disney buses. Seasons in the Land building gives better dessert options and features entrées that are almost as good.

Yes it is worth taking a resort bus to eat at Pepper Market! The food is abundant and delicious, and it is really like eating at a table service restaurant for a counter service credit. The selection of food is outstanding (much, much more to offer than Sunshine Seasons), and the 10% gratuity is included in the CS credit. Pepper Market has a wonderful dessert area, and you are limited to a (scrumptious) cookie or muffin. But if you want to try one of the other desserts, you can certainly pay OOP for it.

We used the dining plan last August at the Pepper Market. It is a fantastic value! You basically get table service meals becasue you get to pick what you want. One time I got this huuuuge burrito which was better than any other CS I have ever had. I love being able to walk around at the pepper market and picking out what I want and then it is made for you right then. Enjoy! :goodvibes

Its called the wet burrito and it is great!! It's my favorite too.

Gratuity is covered w/ MYW.

Thanks so much everyone! I am very excited to try it now. It makes me even happier that we decided to stay at Coronado Springs!

We love this place too and eat there often if we have the dining plan. The dessert muffin is to die for! I save it for breakfast! It is one of the best! (blueberry is my favorite). I am yet to have a bad item from there. I love the Mexican and the Grill.

I wonder why the dessert is soo limited since it's not at some of the other resort cs, like in WL, ect..?? :confused3
