Pepper Market most convient to AK or MGM?

I've read so many positive things about using vouchers at the Pepper Market that we would like to try it. Would it be easiest to leave MGM or AK have lunch there and then return? Or is it not convenient to either and we should try to do it on a non-park day? (We don't usually leave the parks for anything once we get there, so if it will take us away from the park for more than an hour, I'd consider that inconvenient.) What do you think?

TIA,

It's closer to the AK. Between walking from where ever you are in a park, potentially waiting for a bus or a tram to your car, the ride to CSR, eating, and then reversing the process I think it's going to take more than an hour no matter how you cut it. Best case scenario, you are parked close to the entrance, it takes ten minutes to leave the park (don't forget the hand stamps) ten minuites to drive to CSR get through the guard shack and park, half an hour to order and eat, ten minutes to drive back (now you're parked in teh back of the lot) ten minutes to get to the entrance and through security, it's already over an hour--and like I said, that's best case.

I think it's a great idea for a non-park day, you can then take the time to walk around and explore the resort, and feel relaxed rather than rushed to get back to teh parks.

Because the AK closes so early I did my Pepper market trip for dinner after my day at that park. I had a car but you could still do it on the bus and not feel pressured to get back to a park or you could go there by bus for dinner and then grab a bus then hit Illuminations at Epcot.
