Pepper Market & Maya Grill W/Food Allergies

We are considering a stay at Coronado Springs Resort this October. We do alot of resort dining for all three meals. My youngest DD is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and soy. We always bring/order food from GG for her breakfast so not worried about that meal. I am concerned about lunch and dinner meals at the resort. I understand the food service here is NOT run by WDW and I have read a few disapppointing reports that the PM and MG are not so accomodating with food allergies although none were recent reviews. The resort looks lovely and the food variety looks appealing however the lack of allergy safe food(and lack of concern by the staff) are a deal breaker for us.

Does anyone have experience with dining at CSR with food allergies?

We stayed at CSR in Aug 10, and our DS has severe peanut and tree nut allergies. We ate at Pepper Market 3 times, and Maya Grill 1 time. We also heard before our trip that they may not be as accomodating with severe food allergies as the other restaurants at Disney World. But, we had awesome experiences at both CSR restaurants, just like we did at every place we ate at Disney World. We always felt safe eating at CSR.

Eating out is usually a very stressful experience for us (as I'm sure it is for your family), but we never had to worry during our vacation. They always made us feel comfortable, and each place also made our son feel very special. Even the CSR restaurants take food allergies very seriously and won't hesitate to make special accomodations for your family.

We stayed at CSR last Sept. We don't have any allergies in our group but we noticed chefs out talking with guests who did have allergies. It never seemed to be an issue from what we observed.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. By the way, CSR is a beautiful resort. We are staying there this Sept too.

Thank you so much for the replies! It really makes me feel SO MUCH better. I have read so much negative, it is uplifting to hear some positive as well. I know many people gripe about the PM set-up and that is of no concern to me. I am interested in the service as it pertains to my DD's allergies and the variety of food options. Your experiences give me hope if we choose to stay at CSR.
