I am looking for information regarding the Coronado Springs Pepper Market. I have found what is available on the allears menu page, but I can't figure out what would be considered a Counter Service "swipe" from there. Any experiences?

At the Pepper Market with DDP you can get ANY entree (including the $22+ steaks), a non alcoholic drink and any dessert that has a retail of under $4.00. Pepper market is a great option for dinner. Last I was there (June 08) I had the prime rib, with a baked potato and veggies, an ice tea, and the dessert of the day which was a warm apple pie ala mode. Also the automatic service charge does NOT apply to DDP. You tip as you feel service warrants.

We have eaten at Pepper Market the past 2 times using DDP(xmas 06,xmas07). Lot's of choices and each person can get what they want DH had huge chinese combo platter, I had burritos special with quacamole, rice, DS had steak, potato and veggie. There is alot of food, but you really don't have much of an option for dessert,(at least with previous DDP) we got scones and brought them home for breakfast the nest day. You are seated by cm and waiter takes your drink order, then you hit the station you want.

Good choice for big party with different taste and those who are hungry!

Actually, if you are on DDP--you should not have to tip at all since Pepper Market is a quick service location. The 10% tip is covered for you by your DDP.

That is not how it was explained to me. But regardless, I stand by my tip as you see fit theory. Your drinks and refills are brought to you by a server and if you need anything during your meal the servers are accomodating to get what you need.

Anybody know if the "tip included" will still apply in 2009?

Pepper Market has not yet signed up for the 2009 Dining Plan. They are not Disney owned, so a contract needs to be signed. They are always one of the last to sign the contract.

Also, another way to avoid the automatic 10% if you are NOT on the dining plan, is to ask for a "to go" ticket and eat at one of the tables by the lake.

The Pepper Market is our fall back plan if we miss an ADR or on days when we have a snack scheduled instead of a full meal, if we are feeling more hungry then off to the Pepper Market we go!

will the pepper market take a special request like if my DS orders the market nachos with meat and cheese only will they make them for him?
