PeopleMover Refurbishment extended thru 12-26

11 consecutive trips without getting off !!! Wow !!!! Was that at night? I am jealous !!!!! Being able to sit, relax, look at the lights on the castle, it is just so relaxing & makes you really breathe in & just enjoy your family & the wonderful views around you. I am so bummed that it will not be open when we are there. Happy thoughts for all the lucky Dis Buddies that get to enjoy it when it finally does open..

It was in the afternoon. 3ish? Back in 2015, when 5 people in line was considered a long queue. It was our 40th anniversary. Cast Members got into it too - cheering us on with each new loop. One of them had the brilliant idea to document the achievement by having all the CMs sign a Mickey sticker (the only thing they had). Made one for each of us. Still have them. We only stopped at 11 (that's over 2 hours) because, well, bladders want what they want.

LOVE LOVE LOVE your story !!!! We started going to WDW every December when my son was in 1st grade all the way up until he graduated high school, after that.. we started cruising (1st cruise was a Disney cruise) & then we got hooked on cruising with NCL & beach vacations... I just remember when he was little, the People Mover was just a wonderful family bonding moment.. It was just he & I and he loved the lights, castle, & at the end of day.. your feet and legs are tired & the People Mover just allows you take it all in & just gets me so emotional....... I am getting choked up writing this..

I would keep that Mickey Sticker, get it professionally framed, & keep it forever !!!! What a great memory !!!!!
