People Watching! Same Outfits.

My girlfriend has some Quacker Factory tops. If you are wearing Quacker Factory, and you see someone else wearing it, you are supposed go up to that person and say "Quack quack".

I have never seen anyone come up to her and do this. On our last cruise she thought she saw someone wearing Quacker Factory, and she went up to the woman and said "Quack", but the woman either didn't hear her or know what she was talking about.

Has this ever happened to anyone in the parks?

Years ago when I was a junior in high school, I saw a senior wearing a shirt made from the same fabric my mom had made my bedroom cutains from. :scratchin

Two years ago I wore a new dress to work. I had bought it at Kohl's and had knee high black boots paired with it. I also had my bangs pulled back with a clip.

I walked by another department and was screamed to "Stop!" The admin. asst. in that office had the SAME EXACT OUTFIT on...dress, boots, and her hair pulled back. The only difference was I wore my glasses that day. We had such a laugh...and now text each other if we wear that dress so the other knows. My boss got a kick out of us matching and took a picture of us standing next to each other.

We also recently bought the cute lightweight dresses from Target and made each other aware of the colors so we don't wear the same color. :goodvibes We just think the other has great taste ;).

My DH's mom gave him a sweater many years ago that he refuses to wear, can't blame him it's bright yellow with a pretty metallic thread woven throughout it. I wore it to a holiday party one year, with black pants. My DH's brother-in-law showed up wearing the same sweater as me :rotfl2: He also had black pants on.

Turns out DH's mom had purchased one for him as well. It's so feminine I don't know why brother-in-law thought it was a good look on him :confused3. I know I wore it better, but I never wear that sweater out anymore. :rotfl:

When I was in high school, I went to our state's competition for Drama and every night we'd get to go see a different play, at the play on the last night a girl sitting in front of me, in a 2000+ seat auditorium had on the same dress as me. I have to say considering we were in high school we were both able to make jokes about it.

Not exactly matching, but it's not uncommon for a significant portion of the gals in my office to wear the same color. It happens at least once or twice a month, so we assume that something is triggering our joint selection, such as gloomy or sunny weather. When it happens, we just laugh and say "I see you got the email".
I was walking a new employee around during her first week, and she asked if she could be added to the email list, so that she'd fit in!

A couple years ago I bought a great dress for a co-worker's wedding. The dress itself was fairly plain and sleeveless but it had a funky and very colorful jacket. When I got to the wedding, I noticed immediately that a family member on the groom's side was wearing the dress, so I removed the funky jacket.

Flash forward three months to the season opener for our local theatre. I wore my dress and the groom's aunt showed up wearing hers. Once again, I had to remove my funky jacket.

The next time I wore the dress it was to something I was pretty sure the groom's aunt would not be attending, but I asked my friend anyway!

Not quite the same, but definitely an odd situation . . . years ago my roommate and I were eating dinner at our favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant and our server was wearing a top that the roommate's mother had sewn which had recently been donated to the thrift shop.

One time when I went to Animal Kingdom I had on a white t-shirt that had the words "Animal Kingdom" embroidered on it with animal prints for each of the different letters. I had this older couple come up to me and ask me where I had gotten it - it was ordered from the Disney Store online when the park first opened a couple of years ago so it was no longer available. Anyway the wife absolutely loved the shirt and wanted one so bad the husband actually asked me if I would be willing to sell the one I was wearing and buy me a new shirt at one of the park stores. I declined but that was definitely an odd conversation!

Last summer we met some friends for dinner at a local restaurant. The woman walked in wearing the exact same blouse I was wearing. Mine was about 2-3 years old and had been given to me by my MIL when she decided she didn't like the fit on her. It was a pretty distinctive print! My friend and I just cracked up and took a picture:rotfl2:

Not matching clothes, but DH pretty much only has shirts that have our state college football team on them. Everyday he had multiple comments on his clothes.

Haha! This! On the 5th day of a recent vacation...wearing his 5th state college football team shirt...DH wondered out loud if he had any regular clothes. :rotfl: Since I am in charge of "dressing" DH (I am the only one who will shop and I love it) I simply told him "nope". We laughed, nothing puts the closet into perspective more than packing for vacation.

When my son was baptized my SIL showed up and I saw her dress and laughed. We both had dresses that were almost identical. Black straps, thick black trim, and a black and white design. If I wasn't on my phone I'd post a picture.

My son has a large collection of Jake and the never land pirates shirts and every time we are somewhere with kids at least 1 if not more kids freak out over it, the way they act, you would think he was Jake! It's hilarious!

Our office too has the trend of everyone wearing the same colors. One day last year 10 people in the office (out of like 15) wore black pants with green shirts. They just kept on coming in...

My mom and I planned an impromptu day trip to Disney a couple of weeks ago, and when I showed up to her house my kid sister said "Well, I guess I should change shirts." Mom and I were both wearing purple, and my sister decided she needed to join in on the fun.

That's the closest my family will ever get into matching clothes. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend that the three of us should wear Sta Wars shirts for SWW, and he's not even close to biting. Funny thing is he's the fan of the movie, I've never watched any of them. I'm just going for the two of them, and thought I should try to fit in.

Not me, but DW bought a new bathing suit for our Disney cruise in 2009. It was purchased at a store called 'The Bay' in Canada. Several moms came up to her with the same suit, and thus knew we were Canadian. ;)
