We played volleyball in gym today, and I got hit on the head three times.

I really feel for you OP, but, not all preppy people are mean. I have some friends who are preppy, and if one of them says something mean, I don't say, "she said that because she's a mean prep", I just say, "whoa, that was a bit mean". I don't even say, my friends, the preps. They're just friends. That's all And, don't let them bother you. It can be hard not to, but you have to realize that someone that mean obviously is just saying those things to make herself feel better, and to put others down.

Not all preps are mean I am friends with some preppy kids and they never judge and they are the nicest people in the world.

Hi,

My first post here. Just read this whole thread. The sad thing is, there will always be people judging other. I get judged because i'm on the Academic Team, but then also because I'm in a band, then because I decided to get married right after I graduate and not live with my fiancee when we go to college. Just be yourself and forget other people. Haha those are the ones my Mom says will grow up to have 6 kids and be on public assistance.

In a way I think that what you are all saying is true but you shouldnt judge because once I was a prep and I wasnt like that.

I mean I have alot of friends who are in band and colorguard and they are the best but some preppy people are nice too.

There is this girl in Spanish and she is seriously dumber than a tree.
Anyway I've known her since like 2nd grade and she goes
Prep: Hey...ummm...you.
Me:Ya?
Prep: Can I see your paper?
Me: No.
Prep: Why not... please!!!
Me: Umm, NO.
Prep: Why do you have to be so smart?
Me: Because I care.
Prep: Can I please see you r paper,,, ummm person?
Me: No, do it yourself
Prep: Well I cant it's too hard? PLz?
Me: NO!!!
Prep: Well you have way stupid shoes anyway!!!

Then she turns to the girls behind me and says
Prep:Hey you Can I SEE YOUR paper?

How ********. Like she doesn't know my name??? She was just mad. I hang out with popular kids and joks and I play on the volleyball team and cheer. But i'M never that stupid or mean. There are some girls in my school like that, obviously...

I LMAO after that happened though and I was basically wearing the same shoes she was....

No I will say I am a "prep" I guess people would classify me that way, but this just got on my nerves. Me and this girl, Michelle, we're not really friends but we hang in the same circles it just struck me as really funny. But my friends are not like this. Prep is so stereotypical people who just have a lotta friends and are sociable are normally labeled "prep". I would rather say popular... She is just so annoying, acting like she is better than everyone! They're are just all labels that peers give other peers it just ********, why can't we all be friends? But I guess my few words aren't going to change anything...
