People/pets named after Disney characters?

i have a schnauzer who looks like a raccoon.. called cricket after jimeny but would love the name meeko.

not yet. there are a lot of disney names I would like for a pet. both Dh and my favorite name for a daughter is Aurora...not entirely because of sleeping beauty, but that would be where it originally came from.

Many years ago, after staying at Dixie Landings, we named our dachshund puppy Dixie. I like the sound of that so much better than "Port Orleans Riverside".

Shy Boy - we should have named him Bashful (Snow White) but everyone thought Shy Boy was cuter.

Annie - when we first got her I saw a list online that had Annie as a character from PlayHouse Disney but I can't find that list now. Maybe it was wrong?

I had an orange Tabby named Simba. I got him in 1995 when I ws in college. At first his name was Nala until the vet informed me that she was a he, so the name was quickly changed to Simba. He passed away at the age of 13 back in 2008. It's also where my screename comes from.

I've mentioned on the threads before that I love the name Julianna for a girl so I think Julianna Belle would be a pretty name for any future offspring.

I've always loved the names Oliver and Max for boys, which also just happen to be Disney names.

I guess I'm thinking a little ahead of myself, but maybe it's just the girl thing to do.

Growing up I had a kitty named Tinker Bell. My name (Wendy) came from a Disneyland hand stamp my parents got when they went one time. They saw what it said and just knew that would be there next daughters name.

We had a male and a female cat named Simba and Nala. Our little inside dog is named Zac (from Zac and Cody on Suite Life), but we have said many times that he should be Stitch because of all the trouble he can get in.

A girl friend and I were just discussing this because I mentioned I wanted a cat named Meeko in the future, and she told me she had a cat named Meeko when she was younger. (The raccoon from Pocahontas, just in case somebody was wondering.)

I have also always wanted to name a future daughter Belle. I love the name Briar Rose too but I get weird looks every time I say it, so no can do on that one...

So anyway, I guess I'm just curious to see if anyone knew anyone else with a Disney inspired name? Pets included!

My dog name is Lady after one of my favorite movies Lady and the Tramp.

I have a cat Simba who is orange tiger striped and a gray tiger stripe cat named Rafiki - who I sometimes call Ra-Freaky because he can act like a little freak. I wanted to name my other cat Stitch but it didn't fit him and he is Billy which totally fits him (not a Disney name)
