Where are these actually located? What area should I try to avoid in requesting a room? Are they on all the savannahs?

Where are these actually located? What area should I try to avoid in requesting a room? Are they on all the savannahs?

They seem to be more on the Sunset Savanna and Uzima Savanna. There are no pens on the middle savanna that is called the Arusha Savanna.

We had a pen near our room last fall, and it did not in any way detract from the view. The pens are very close to the building. Animals do not come this close.

We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor once, right even with the People Pen. It was not very pleasing so we requested to be moved, and were done so very promtly.

What exactly is a people pen??

What exactly is a people pen??

They are required for evacuation in case of a fire. If there was a fire the guests would evacuate into the pen while the CMs get the animals into their holdings area and then the people would be released onto the savannas. Hopefully they will never have to be used.

We had a people pen to the right of our balcony. It didn't take away from our view at all! Loads of giraffes, cattle, ostriches, and little deer. Beautiful!

We once had a room above the people pen on the susnset savannah. We were on an upper floor so it didn't effect the view at all. We were upgraded to that view so we were very happy with it
