I just read that this attraction is removed at DL. Is it still there? Is the track still there?

The track is still there and you can see where the ride used to load but the ride is shut down. I have heard rumors for years that they are wanting to put this back in at DL. I hope so, I love the TTA in the MK.

On the bright side, the subs are back at DL which is nice for the nostalgia factor.

I think that there have been rumors somewhere that people has seen something going on in the track area the past couple of weeks, but I have not heard anything official about it. The people mover has actually been closed for years at DL but the track has remained and temporarily housed a newer ride (Rocket Rods) that was scraped not long after it opened. Since then it has sat empty to my knowledge.

The problem with PP is that it violated California safety rules. There were several well publicized deaths on this slow moving - usually by teenagers horsing around. But it was built before the safety rules were made so it was grandfathered. Now that the ride is down if Disney brings it back it is no longer grandfathered and Disney will have to comply with the new rules. Hence the old ride will never come back in its previous form. The latest rumors have been an enclosed ride - the pods in the Incredibles movie have been discussed.

i hope it is there. this was great at MK
DH and i both loved it.:goodvibes
