hmm, ereyone was winning dream fastpass's, we missed out everytime : (

my daughter did get a visit from a lady who gave us a limited edition tinker bell pin, and we watched a family of 4 receive something big, they had a posse of 4-6 dream team members , yellow leis on, and the dream makers were carrying there bags and stuff for them as they walked through tommorland.

In Magic Kingdom, you must have seen the family that won the Private Island prize. I think it is a 4 or 7 day cruise that includes a day at Castaway Cay all by yourself. Pretty exciting for them.

We were in Disney World from 11/5 through 11/12. We saw quite a number of dream ears and dream fastpasses, but unfortunately did not win ourselves. I beleive our biggest issue in winning was we never got to any of the parks at rope drop. We would typically get up around 7:30 or 8:00, get ready, eat breakfast, and hit Disney's transportation system around 9:00 - 9:30. This would get us to the parks about 10:00 - 10:30 each day... a little late for the dreamteam stuff.

Based on the observations in this forum, I did try to increase my chances by hitting the things that people mentioned here winning on as soon as I got to each park. My closest chance was at "One Mans Dream" at HS. I've read many stories here of people winning in there. So, one morning, when we hit HS, we headed there first. It was about 10:30am. I had not been in there but about 3 minutes, when the dream team came walking in behind us. They went up to a family a little deeper into the attraction, started talking to them, and then escorted them away... Don't know what they got, but they seemed pretty surprised and excited.

My only "dream" was when I bought a Mickey bar at Animal Kingdom. I counted out exact change and handed it to the cashier... She handed me the icecream, and then my money back, saying it was free due to the million dream celebration. It *did* make my day! :)

Sorry to hear that you haven't won anything but I have to share this:

In the last two trips we haven't "seen" anyone win one but I have to say that hearing some things that have been done outside of that has really made me smile. While waiting in line to check in at 50's Prime Time on Wednesday night a lady behind us was talking on the phone to someone and said they were someplace and the CM asked her daughter if she had seen any princesses that day and she had not. So the CM asked them to follow the CM and they went to a door, the CM knocked, and when the door opened there were 4 princesses (she didn't say which ones) waiting and she had all 4 of them to herself. It made me want to cry - it was so exciting to hear that mother talk about how excited her daughter was.

To me - THAT is MAGIC!

Would I have liked to have won something - oh you bet. Do I enjoy hearing what others have won - oh more than anything that you can imagine. That to me is true Disney - the excitement in someone's voice about something they have experienced.

We've been to WDW THREE TIMES so far this year and have never won a thing. I have sent in countless amounts of postcards for each person in our family and no package has arrived on our doorstep.

I am super lucky in the things in life that count. But I am super unlucky in the things in life that would qualify as being a "TOTAL BONUS!"

Greg and I will be arriving in WDW on December 31st of this year... last day of the Million Dreams Celebration. I don't suppose we will have any luck because we are arriving later in the afternoon. Oh well. We love Disney World anyways. Just being there makes me feel lucky.

We were just there from the 12th -17th - and not once did we see any dream team members, nor did we see any recepients of fast passes or special mickey ears or anything. I assumed from that that they were no longer doing the promotion. Would have been nice to have won something, though!

On the 12th of Nov. we went to the MK. I was determined to go on rides that I never did before. My dh took pictures, because he was sort of embarassed, but we still had a good time.

I did Dumbo at 10:30 with only a 10 minute wait. The MK was incredibly empty. We walked over to Peter Pan and I saw that ride had a 30 minute wait, so I went over to carousel. I wanted to find Cinderella's horse, with the gold ribbon on it's tail, so I could take a picture and maybe ride it.

When I looked up, I saw at least 6 Dream Team members looking at the Carousel and waiting. I got off and they didn't give anyone anything. I got back on to take a picture, the Carousel was only half full each time, and this is when I figured out, that they were waiting for someone to ride one of the horses that were picked out. I saw them all shake their head when the ride started again.

They did have a big black duffle bag with them. We left, since the line at Peter Pan was down again. When we got off Peter Pan, they were still standing there. So I don't know what kind of prize it was. It would of been neat to see if it was the Cruise prize.

big duffle bags are usually ears, they were probably waiting for a specific time.

I would have kept riding the Carousel just to get picked:yay:

We were at WDW 11-16 thru 11-23. Each time we were in the MK I saw lots of Dream Squaders, on the 22nd we were getting off our boat at Pirates and lo and behold THERE THEY WERE:3dglasses lying in wait......popcorn:: Is it us:rolleyes1

Nope:sad2: the boat behind us. I said to DH stand in the gift shop and watch to see what happens (had to run for a pit stop) while I had seen lots of prize patrolers, I hadnt actually seen anyone win. As I returned there was a family being ushered out, they were VERY specific as to who was sitting where. Finally they explained that the daughter, who was all of 4 or 5, was the actual winner. They were trying so hard to drum up excitement in her, not working, I think she was more nervous than anything. (all these big strangers) When the lead patroler finally said "wanna know your prize?!!!??" I almost screamed YES!!!! restraint please---popcorn::

She won a $500. half hour shopping spree in the Main Street Emporium!! :scared1: after of course they explained to the parents, they signed some paper work.

That was my excitement for the day. Oh there was one walking right behind DH later in the day, I kept thinking, tap tap tap, just tap his shoulder would ya! nope. :wizard:

We didnt win anything. It was kinda lame cause we just missed it a lot though. In Hollywood Studios we missed out and talked to the dream team member about our unluckiness. Then not 30 minutes later I was walking to Pizza Planet for lunch and I saw a dream team member cheering up a screaming child.
Then we were sitting in tomorrowland right outside the Astro Orbiter. We were either taking a quick break or waiting for a fastpass appointment I cant remember which. And then a Dream Team member came up to us and started talking to us asking us how our day was and if we were having a good time. We thought that we might get something then, but we didnt.
And my friends like to blame me for this one. We were in the Magic Kingdom and it was still pretty early so we were practically walking on all the rides in fantasy land. And the stand by time for Peter Pans Flight was only like 10 minutes. So I told my friends that we should ride it then. So we did and then we watched Mickey's Philarmagic. And right as we were walking out of Mickey's Philharmagic the dream team was standing outside of where Peter Pan's Fight lets out handing out dream fastpasses. It was so lame.

I don't usually come on this board because I'm so incredibly unlucky that I never win anything ever. If I get any sort of hope that I might win something when we are there in 10 days, I think I might be disappointed. Maybe Dbf is lucky.
