Pens/notepaper

I collect hotel pens (and those are the only kind I use in normal life), do the cruise ships have pens and paper by the bed? if so, what do they look like? are there any cruise ship pens?

They are in the desk drawer in the room (in the room with verandas at least)

I disagree with the "just" word choice - when I use my BIC pen off the ship I am transported...

I do the same thing, guilty of taking the Bic pens at Disneyland and Disneyworld when I visited. Can't wait to get my filty mitts on that Cruise pen!

Our room on the Dream had a metal type pin with the twist, not a cap.

Me too ... if it runs out then it's a reason to cruise again. Having said that I have had a silver pen in the drawer (last cruise august 15) and picked up a bic from the future cruise desk!

Ah, yes. I forgot about the twist pen. Those are too thin/slippery for me, so they get left behind for the rest of you to pilfer.

They have postcards and stationary paper/envelopes as well. I was recently looking at the stuff we brought home from the Alaska trip and saw the back of the stationary for the first time--cool pattern with hidden Mickeys on the back--the front is very plain with the DCL logo, so I was surprised when I turned the paper over.
