Pending Email?

I'm 95% sure that December 19th is disney's version of Murphy Time. It is much more likely that you will hear back in a few weeks, probably latest, a little after thanksgiving. And yeah, that does seem like a long time still, but look at it this way: They want to give everyone a fair chance, including those who applied a little later. They get thousands of applicants and can only go through them so quickly. It will take time. As inconvenient as it is, we have to be patient. For all we know, there could be a "disney spy" watching these forums to see how well people react to waiting. It's possible that someone could be denied just because they were very rude or excessively *****y about having to wait.

Well I am almost 100% sure that if there were a "Disney spy" they would have NO IDEA who the CP applicant was by reading these such posts. It is not like people are putting personal information down in their posts. I am sure the CP people don't have time to read a public forum when they have thousands of applicants to interview and process. I have not read any RUDE let alone VERY RUDE whiney comments either.

I can see how frustrating/scary it is for people to WAIT because some people get a response email 2 or 3 days after they did the interview. Then then there are the people that get the response in 2 weeks and then there are the people that get the PENDING until Dec. 19th. I think this board is a great place for people to come and "WAIT", ask questions and try and figure out the way the process works.

o.o oh! Sorry, I didn't mean to make it seem like I was saying that anyone on the forums had been rude. However, there was one girl on the fb forum that was extremely rude. And on the fb site, names are very clear. As for here, I know that some people have put their names and cities and other information as a roommate survey. I've done that too. That information could easy pinpoint who it is.

But yeah, I wasn't trying to offend or imply that you guys were being rude. I completely understand your frustration, but try to be understanding of their situation.

Also, for spies, I'm sure that part of at least a few peoples jobs is to do random research on people. You know, see what comes up on facebook with their info, or on other sites. I'll tell you for sure, employers use facebook to research a potential employee all the time.

Just for the recrd, i didn't mean for anything i have said to come off as whiney (impatient i can't say much about, because i am a very impatient person... about everything ) I was just confused about the pending situation. &i still am as somepeople have said they called and were told to disregard the pending email, and others have called and were told that if they got the email they were meant to.

But on that same note, i don't think its fair for some people to have to wait up to 3 months, while some people are waiting only 2 days. just don't understand the system. But i do know that they are using a new system (all computerized) and that they get tons of applicants. So i am understanding of that.

&i can agree 100% about the 'disney spy' deal. On the forums, maybe not so much because the names/info isn't right there. But on FB i have seen MANY rude people. I can't imagine that Disney doesnt have someone on there 'spying.' i also can't believe that some of the people on there have been accepted and then being extremley rude to others. Uh hello. Its not written in stone. They can revoke their offer

yeah, I'm so used to using both, I kind of just lumped them all together.


To Spacemania: I think the people who are only waiting a few days are people who are a definite 100% fit to the company. The rest of us may be people who are a 95% or maybe even just an 80%, so they have to look at us more closely. Like when kids take tests in school, 90% of them get an average of C, 5% get an average of A, and 5% get an average of F. At least, that's the basic assumption. (90% of thousands of applicants take a long time to go through)
