Penalty for removing DDP?

Our trip is in March and my dad booked everything. He got the Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining. He didn't realize that tips weren't included, and neither were appetizers. He said he would much rather do appetizers than dessert everyday, so I was just wondering if there is a penalty for taking the dining part off of your plan?

Not if you make the change more than 45 days before your arrival.

I would still try and explain that when you booked the trip you didn't understand the changes to the plan. Worst case scenario they say no. Worth a shot!

And if they do say no - the charge to make a change to your package right now is $50.
Once you get within five days of arrival, it's $100.

At any rate, $50 is still a lot less than the Dining Plan would cost.

If your Dad will spend less than $50 on appetizers for the trip its worth it to keep the plan and not pay the penalty.
