I was hoping for more impact when I quit soda. (I found out I was not quite diabetic, but getting close.) I switched to water with those little crystal light single serv doohickeys. I dropped 12 pounds in 3 weeks, but then slowly gained back 8. It's been about 5 months now and a 4 pound drop seems to be about as good as I'm going to get with just cutting soda alone. I keep saying I'm going to start woking out, but then there is life...and the Dis and excuses. Maybe I should take a photo of my belly and stick it as the screensaver on my phone as motivation. Of course that would probably get me arrested for public endangerment so I better not. (Plus my co-workers would probably not appreciate having their retinas burned out.)Good idea on the bible study. I wish my mom would do that. Not only for the $$ but for the carbs and empty calories. Just that one change is huge from a diet perspective.

Anyway, Congrats on the 99 days Jordan! That definitely is worthy of celebration! (Just skip the soda!)
