Chapter 64. Friday, February 8th. Day 9. Part 6. A sweaty Asian goes pasty white.
First, I have to say thanks to all of you for sticking around. It really has meant alot to me to read all the nice posts.....
Okay back to Trip Report....so if you can remove the cobwebs from your mind....I spent Friday not going to any parks....Kim had been with Wendy and Derek and the kids at the World Showcase. However, she came back because we were going to Stormalong Bay....
I had spent alot of time earlier in the trip in the sun...(think back to oh....Later Feb/Early March in my TR) at Typhoon Lagoon. So one would think I had quite a tan going.......think again....
We made our way down from the BCV to Stormalong Bay. It was a warm day, but it was February so it wasn't extremely crowded.....
We staked out a place...
Here's a great view of the sandy bottom part of the pool....it's awesome....
We then took a dip in the pool. There are actually jets that move the current in the mini lazy river...it was cool.....We then got out and just laid around
Here's Kim drying off
Nice farmer's tan......
After all the other guests ran from the pool area, I thought it would better for everyone if I got back in the pool:
I eventually got out again and just enjoyed the view from the chair. It truly was a beautiful day:
My double chin and I took a bit of time to write in my Trip Journal....and that Grey hair is becoming more noticable....
After about an hour or two, we decided to get back to the BCV as we were going to be babysitting so Josh, Robo, Wendy and Derek could go out....
I caught this picture on the way out:
We decided to grab dinner at Hurricane Hanna's using some of our CS credits....their menu is limited but the food is quite tasty
If I remember correctly, Kim had the Flatbread Chicken and I had the Chicken Strips. We got our food and returned the room........
Next up: The adults have a great dinner....
