Oooooh, I'm excited for you! That'll be nice not having to worry about anything getting lost, clogged, dried out, or otherwise inconvenience- inducing, on your trip! I really hope it works out for you, and you can be free from glasses/contacts!! I hope my mom can someday go without too! SHe's worn glasses since 5th grade.

I thought about Lasik but I do know a few people who either still needed glasses or had really bad dry eye problems...so I decided to stick with contacts. But I have the kind you can wear for 30 days at a time without removing them...and quite honestly I probably wear them closer to 45 or 50 days at a time. Shhh...don't tell my optometrist!

I just got new glasses. Mine were in the same shape as LL. One of the nose pads was missing. I waited way too long. It had been over 4 years! I wish I was brave enough for Lasik. Wendy please let us know how it goes.

there was a commercial that was playing a lot recently advertising some sort of nuts/crackers type thing (the name escapes me right now) and at the end they say, "a great nut snack." well, the first time it was on i wasn't watching TV and just heard that and i won't tell you what i thought they said!!!!! now every time it's on TV i giggle.
