Pecos Bills at Magic Kingdom question

We wanted to visit here on our next trip- heard the fixings bar is really good. Does anyone know what kind of chairs they have? I saw one photo with just these stool type things with no backs, and I can't really sit on that type of thing for long. Do they still have those, and are there other choices? Thanks

I like the fixin' bar.. they have sauteed mushrooms and onions. Other than that, pretty typical stuff. As far as I can remember, they only have those stool-like chairs. Pretty uncomfortable.

Thanks - I saw that photo on allears but I can't tell how old it is. I saw something on the web from maybe 3-4 years ago saying they put in the backless stools. Since I can't date the photo I'm hoping someone who's been in there recently can tell me what's currently there.

more work on Pecos Bills a few months ago too.

Ate there this past summer and remember chairs with backs.

They took the backs off of the chairs so people will be less inclined to stick around. This happened in mid-late July I think.

You are kidding right LOL ??? They have been stools for as long as I can remember . I do think there were a few chairs that were normal there. My DH makes me eat there at least every other day if not everyday when we are there . It is good but it aint that good honey

I also heard that and asked in a couple of Dining Reports - they also show no backs on chairs...

We ate there last week and there are no backs on the chairs; it is short stools and the seats are square

They also have hot melted cheese on the bar...

We ate at Pecos Bill's last week -- LOVE that place and the fixin's bar -- and don't remember seeing anything but the padded stools. They're actually not too uncomfortable, and we only sat there for 20 minutes or so.

Ate here last December, love the place, but the backless chairs not so much. Since I have a bad back I had to find a wall to rest my back against . I heard on the podcast that they plan to do this at their counter service places and I think that really stinks.

sorry...I went earlier this year and definitely sat in a chair. There are many different areas to the seating so maybe I didn't notice the stools or maybe they we only partway through switching them out?
