Pecos bill tall tale inn cafe

Is it really worth it to go to this QS resaturant? How's the food? The fixin bar sounds pretty interesting. Thanks!

I personally go for the fixin's bar! I love the mushrooms and drown my burger with those when we go.

The food is OK and it's a nice, cool place to rest for a bit. I do advise getting there as early as possible because it does get very crowded!

We love Pecos Bills.

The food is as good is any other CS place. Love the taco salad choice, and you fill in the salad with the bar....very cool.

Pecos Bills is good, but we liked Cosmic Rays better. Cosmic Rays had waaaay more choices and also have a fixin bar:

Topping Bar: lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, relish, green peppers, mushrooms, grilled onions, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and cheese sauce

Plus-the Alien Lounge Singer is entertaining!!

PB is a must do for our first MK day every trip, its one of our ways of celebrating that we r back! The menu is a bit limiting but I havent had anything there that wasnt tasty. Burger, chicken wrap, taco salad..Now I hear they have a chicken fried steak which is DH fave..Toppings bar is nice, I always get mushrooms, pickles and tomatos no matter what meal I get and some cheese sauce for the fries..COuld care less about the backless chairs...We normally only need to sit about 20 min to relax and eat our meal before we r ready to do something else..

Columbia Harbour House is nice with the upstairs seating but their menu also is very limited

If you want variety Cosmic Rays is the answer but if your eatting more than 1 CS meal I say try all of them!

We usually always eat at PB our first day there. We eat around 2:30ish so we can sit and eat while watching the parade.

I really like Pecos Bills. Maybe we should check out Cosmic Ray's this time since everyone is saying it has a lot of variety? I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one though.

Whether it is "worth" it or not is a totally personal decision. What does worth mean to you - cost, quality, quantity, something else?
We like Pecos Bill very much. It is good CS food and we like the option of the fixins bar.
If we were only in the MK for 1 day I think we would choose Columbia Harbour House over Pecos Bill. I love their tuna sandwich.

I can say we have tried both CS restaurants and like Pecos WAAAAAAY more than Cosmic Rays. Between 5 people having several different meals there and I can tell you, NONE of them were good. The fixins bar at Pecos Bills is nice, the food is decent and it's a little easier to navigate around.

My family along with my parents Pecos Bill! This counter service is a MUST for each trip - even requires a few visits! The fixin's bar is by far the best in Disney World, but that is just my opinion!

I really like this CS. Fixins bar is really good too. It is also conveniently situated for a late lunch as that is usually where we are in the park just after 2 pm, having done BTMR and SM. In the busier seasons I highly recommend eating off peak times - lines move quickly but the serving area gets pretty packed and navigating your way through all the people with a full tray can be tricky.

If you go up the walkway to the left, they have chairs with backs there and usually very few people.


DH's favorite place to go-do it every trip regardless. He doesn't ask for much-I always get the chicken wrap-it's really refreshing on a hot day! Columbia House has a limited menu but it really is a great sandwich-and it is right across from my fave-Haunted Mansion!

We this CS. We stumbled onto it on our first visit and it is now a custom for us to go everytime we are at WDW. The fixin bar is amazing with the chicken wrap. This is so big you could split it in 1/2 for 2 adults. Thumbs up, way up for this CS

Be aware that there are three different lines, and you can only get one kind of food in each. I don't remember the exact break down, but for example if you want both chicken and burgers, you have to wait in two different lines.

We love Pecos Bills, It's on our must do list every time. The fixins bar is great, and we love the atmosphere. It's a great cool spot on a hot frontierland day. They also have outdoor seating if that's more to your liking.

I used to love it, but not anymore. The last two times I went, I did not enjoy it. The one time I ordered the burger, which is usually what I would get there. I just tasted blah...the second time I ordered the pork bbq sandwich, and it was gross. I do like the fixings bar, but they also have one at Cosmic Ray's, and we like the food there better.
