Pecos Bill Special Orders?

With the new automated system at Pecos Bill's, is it still possible to make special orders? (eg chicken salad, no chicken)?

Are you referring to some self scan ordering system like at Captin Cook's in the Polynesian? If you are then when my friend and I went to Peco Bill's we never saw what you were referring to, because we had a Cast Member take our order.

Well like I said before when my friend and I were there I never noticed anything that you mentioned before when it comes to an automated system, however since I had no idea about it I never thought of looking for it. Although I am usually good at seeing things like this and usually I would notice it if I knew Peco Bill's was doing this.

We were just there last week and the last two rows (four lines) closest to the CB exit were automated. They are like the ordering menus at sheetz (and I just realized half the nation won't know where I mean, but anyway) It worked great. I didn't do a special order (sorry), but there is a place to opt out before you finalize - so I would try and there was next to nil line there so it was sooooo nice.

If it is anything like the self service at Captain Cooks, there was no way to make a special order. For this reason I did not like the self service. If they plan to replace all the cashiers with these self service swcreens things will get very ugly. I've heard that they removed them from the Taste Pilot Grill at DCA in CA because it wasn't working out.

They still had them at the Taste Pilots Grill in May 2007 when we were there. They may have been removed since but I had no trouble with them. You could do special orders on them. I wasn't sure how to at first but a CM helped me out. I had wanted a chicken sandwich without mayo and there was a way to customize through the menu. Once I found out it was possible it was easy to do. I used the one at Captain Cooks last Dec. and I agree that it was somewhat different. I have not seen the Pecos Bill version yet.
