Pecos Bill kid menu question regarding DDP

From Deb Wills site on the kids menu it says kids can have 2 side items: grapes, carrot sticks or applesauce. it says Chocolate chip cookie, fries or soft drink available on request.

Does "on request" still mean it is covered in the DDP or do you have to pay extra? My DD I know will want the fries.

Those items are covered when you exchange them for something you were already getting - like fries instead of the side of grapes, or soda instead of milk.
