Pearl Harbor tickets

Trying to figure out what time to book our Pearl Harbor reservations…the first time available is 8:00 am..what time do restaurants open at Aulani..how long does it take to get there ? what is the parking situation..I am planning to do it our 2nd day so I anticipate being up early since we we won’t be adjusted from east coast time.

The drive took us about 35 minutes. We built in time to stop at a Starbucks in Kapolei for coffee and bakery items to drink/eat on the drive. When we visited Pearl Harbor, you could get day-of tickets for earlier times than could be booked in advance. We arrived at opening and were able to trade our later tickets for the first ticket time. Our parking spot was very near the entrance. We heeded all the advice we heard about not leaving valuables in the car. I believe I bag-checked my purse while my family waited in line for the park to open. I’d guess between the movie, visiting the Arizona, walking around the grounds a bit and stopping at the gift shop took about 2-2-1/2 hours. We heard great things about breakfast at Anna Miller’s so headed there next. Breakfast exceeded expectations and was an excellent value.

I agree with dreamit - book the earliest tickets you can. I would still get there well before 8 so you could look around before going on the boat. We always book the earliest because there is less of a chance for bad weather and boat cancelations.

As for food, you can also stop at the ABC store by Aulani and get one of their breakfast sandwiches.

For the drive, give yourself at least the 35 minutes but I would also add another 15 depending on what day you're going. Traffic can be bad during rush hour in the morning.
