I made these this afternoon and I just have to say they are PERFECT! Slightly crisp on the outside and chewy peanut buttery goodness on the inside... topped off with a single Hershey Kiss.

My Hershey Kisses always fall off when I make those. I love peanut butter cookies with or without the chocolate though.

I make a batch of them every year for Christmas, they're so good. They don't last long, everyone loves them.

Try them with Mini Reese's peanut butter cups instead of kisses. They are WAAAAYYY better. Also I found the secret on doing them with kisses. First make sure you have the kisses unwrapped prior to pulling the cookies out of the oven. Second put the kiss in unside down - top in first. I did them the other way and found they would fall out.

Do you use mini muffin tins to make these or just make them on a cookie sheet? Mini muffin tins work best.

When I make Nicole's Reese's Peanut Butter treats for Christmas parties or for our recital luncheon, they always go.

If someone wants the reciepe I have, just send me a private note and I will give it too you.

People- you place the kiss in the ball of cookies dough while it sits on the pan-pushing it in slightly- then you bake the whole thing. The Kiss keeps it's shape and out of the oven is a deliciously melty treat!

Are you serious? I would think the whole think would melt and burn on the pan. I think we're going to be doing some baking this weekend

Did you ever have those Reeses peanut butter cup cookies from Dunkin Donuts? I think you gain weight just by looking at them, but they are delicious. I don't think I've ever seen mini Reeses cups though.

I've made these (see below) which are a HUGE hit. They were the first to go at a party I brought them to...if you like the PB kisses, you'll LOVE these!!

PBK cookies are one of my fave cookies in the world :goodvibes!!! Shelby, thx sweetie, your Fudge Puddles pix is looking so very inviting!! :teeth:
I love to make that recipe with our grands, as are sooooo yummy and they love them!! :lovestruc

A tip so the kisses dont melt when you put them in the hot cookies..after unwrapping them stick them in the freezer for a bit then put them in the cookies. :)

I bake my kisses with the cookie- roll dough into ball- roll ball in sugar- place on cookie sheet- take unwrapped kiss and push slightly into cookie ball (flattening cookie slightly) and then bake. The Kisses hold their shape- I am NOT kidding you people. Try it.

So you bake them with the wrapping on?? I'm confused. We always baked them then when they came out of the oven we put the unwrapped kiss in the middle.

I believe I said "unwrapped kiss"...... With the kiss baked on the cookie- it does not fall off.

I'm sure they hold their shape just like chocolate chips do when they're baked.

Here is what mine look like after the peanut butter cups have been put in right out of the oven:

You find the mini peanut butter cups in the bagged candy aisle. They are the ones that are just in a foil wrapper.

This is what the large bag looks like:

So then when you eat them, do you take the kiss off and unwrap it and put it back on the cookie and eat it or do you eat them seperately? I'm not making fun of your way, I hope its not coming across like that, I'm just curious b/c I've never heard of doing it this way.
