Am I the only one that has to fix PB on one slice of bread and jelly on the other? Neither of the kids likes it together. Do you think I will be able to order it this way at any CS? We have limited dining options with them so I'm curious. TIA!:goodvibes

No, you are probably not the only one. However, the PB&Js at WDW at Smucker's Uncrustables so there is no way for you to ask that they be made a special way.

I don't actually remember actual sandwiches, other than Uncrustables, at any of the CS we went to. Since they are pre-made chances are not good.

I too only saw uncrustables at the CS locations. I remember in the past some of the buffets had the makings out for PBJ (CP comes to mind).

I agree with others, CS will be impossible other than bringing your own PB and J. The only PB and J that Disney sells is Uncrustables.

I do believe you can buy bread, peanut butter, and jelly from the gift shop and make it yourself. If not you can always order from the garden grocer.

I would also like to suggest making your own PB&Js if the uncrustables don't fly at home. I did it for years and even packed a loaf of bread, peanut butter and jelly in my checked luggage one year :rotfl:. You can only get those kind of supplies at a Disney Vacation Club home-away-from-home resort and we were staying at Pop Century that trip. I guess if you don't want to try to pack the bread (it *was* a PITB) and you don't have a car, you can make a side trip to the Boardwalk or Bay Lake Tower and buy a loaf or two of bread for the week and just back the peanut butter and jelly. Both need to go into checked luggage, though.

I used one of those square Glad/Ziplock disposable containers to pack the PB&Js into so they would not get squished in my backpack.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea it was uncrustables. They are used to natural PB and organic jelly on wheat bread. Maybe I should put a small container of PB in my bag and buy the slices of bread.

I will buy a box and try to get them to eat it but I doubt it will happen. dh will end up eating them for lunch.

You won't be able to buy slices of bread at park CS restaurants. You will at resort food courts, but I think it's pretty expensive. When I brought bread from home, I think that I packed my bread in a plastic shoe box and then it went into my luggage. The TSA does not allow PB or jelly in carry-on bags.

I'm confused, are they eating it like a sandwich or like two open face sandwiches? When I make one I put PB on one slice and jelly on the other and make a sandwich by placing one slice of bread on the other with the PB touching the jelly.

When you say they don't like it together do they eat a bite from one and then a bite form the other? :confused3

Well I would say uncrustables are the furthest away you can get from natural PB and organic jelly on wheat bread. :goodvibes

Coming from having my own kid with food issues, I think you are going to have to make your own. Though they may surprise you and now only want uncrustables.

Oh, thanks for the info. This is very helpful!

I'm confused too and curious. Because if they don't eat them seperately then how would you know if they put it on seperate pieces before putting them together???

I've never had uncrustables. I think I'd much rather make my own though.

Sorry if I'm being confusing. They like PB on bread and jelly on bread but not a sandwich. The PB cannot touch the jelly. It is nuts, I know.

You're not going to find that anywhere at WDW, so if you can (it'll be a pain if you're flying) I'd suggest bringing your own supplies.

I ordered from Garden Grocer today. I was going back and forth with packing my own but delivery was only $12 so I ordered!!

They sell wheat bread for toast for a bit less than a dollar at the resort CS locations. The packet included 2 pieces of bread. I think jelly was free in the condiment area and PB was around the same as the cream cheese packets (between .50 and .75 I think). The wheat bread isn't the real wheat kind though so perhaps packing your own would be better.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not super picky about organic on trips, I will let the kids have whatever I can get them to eat. I'm not going to take along PB&J, I ordered it for our room use. My bag will be full enough with other stuff!

Tusker House (Lunch) has bread, peanut butter and jelly on the buffet and you can make it however you like.

They may have it out at breakfast but I'm not certain.

Crystal Palace used to have make your own pb&j at the buffet. They also had rainbow bread to make it on that my DD loved. I didn't see it last trip so not sure if it's been removed. At 'Ohana they still make the sandwhich in the back. No Uncrustables there unless that has been changed since October. If you want to bring your own pb&j and buy bread you can do it at any food court. Also, if you are staying at the resort that has DVC, their giftshops sell loaves of bread. Good luck!
