We have been to FW 2 x's now. Both times we have stayed in the 100 loop. We really enjoy having our morning java with all the critters. Is there anything more peaceful? In the 100 loop we have had the pleasure of having peacocks, ducks, storks(?) that's what they look like to me anyway, and of course lots of rabbits, squirrels and big, big blackbirds to keep us company in the early a.m. hours before the teens wake us up!! Will we have the pleasure of seeing these critters in the 1600 loop? I know we probably won't if my 2 dogs have anything to say about it. This will be our first trip with our dogs. A minnie daschund and golden lab mix. At least we won't spend our time going thru the pet loops looking longingly at the dogs coz we miss ours so!! Lol.

In the pet loops you will not see so many birds, and I've never seen the peacocks make it that far. You will see armadillos, though, and lots and lots of other 'tamer' animals. It is fun to see all the dogs and meet all their people.

the peacocks seem to stay around the 100, 200 and 400 loops, the whole campground seems to have lots of armadillos, and my sister swears she has seen a bobcat across from the 1400 loop near the bridge, she has seen it more than once but usually at night.
