Peacock hotel in Anaheim

Who has stayed here? Is it nice? What is the closest beach? My husband really wants to stay on the beach but this is the only one of two that we can trade our timeshare week for. The other is in escondido. Help should we stay here or wait for something else to hopefully come up.

If i am thinking of the correct place, we stayed there prior to it going condo) it was nice but no where close to the beach....it was in Anahiem.
getting beach in LA might be difficult.......

Peacock Suites I should have said and I know it is not on the beach but was just wondering what the closest beach was?

We are going there in a few weeks...I can report back when we get home, if you like. I do know they charge $8.00 to park. IF you google Peacock...there are quite a few reviews on the place.

I've never stayed there so I can't comment on that, however, you have your choice of two beaches. Huntington Beach and Newport Beach are both fairly close.

To get to Newport, go north on Harbor Blvd to I-5. Take I-5 south to the 55. Then stay on 55 which will take you right to the beach.

To get to Huntington, go south on Harbor Blvd and then get on the Garden Grove Freeway (22). I believe you'll go west and then get off on Beach Blvd (39) and follow that south all the way to the beach. Huntington has the better parking but Newport may be a bit more "scenic". Either way, you can't go wrong.

Going to the beach is a great way to take a break from the crowds at Disneyland. You'll love it.
