I know that the toll is only paid going back to Canada. Do you need exact change or will change be provided. Is it coin only or will bills be accepted. checked their web site and currant rate is $3.75 US or $5.oo CDN

I'm not seeing any information with regards to exact change, so I"d expect that they will provide change for you.

Mind you, when I last did a road trip I researched tolls ahead of time and made sure I had everything stashed in the glove and ready to go.

They provide change, and accept coins or bills. We cross regularly.

Just a note, if you are paying in mixed currency, it's a total of $5.00, so they aren't doing any kind of exchange on a portion of USD paid. It's just easiest to keep a CAD $5.00 set aside for the return trip. Put it with your passports or something.
