Peabody??

I just got reservations through hotwire for the Peabody for $81 a night. We will be staying there a few nights before going to the Royal Pacific. I would love to hear from somebody who has stayed here!!

The Peabody is a wonderfully luxurious hotel, the rooms are large and comfortable, and it wins my award for softest towels, too.

There are fabulous choices in dining: Dux is a beautiful restaurant, very upscale; Capriccio has excellent Italian fare, very elegant, with an unusual flair; B-Line Diner offers a fun atmosphere, and has the best fruit plate for breakfast that I can imagine.

Incredible price, at $81.00. Well worth it. You've got a real bargin. Be sure to look for the Duck parade!

I stayed there about 4 years ago for a conference in the hotel. The rooms are deluxe and the pool area is very nice, as are the restaurants on site. You did get a great rate as this hotel is considered a Deluxe. The hotel itself is withing walking distance of a few restaurants. I must say though that the hotel has a "corporate" feel to it, at least that's my opinion. Enjoy!
