Found an excellent rate for the Peabody hotel in August.
Can anyone that has stayed there give me their opinion?

We never stayed there, but we visited the Peabody to see the duck parade. It looked like a very fancy hotel.

My mom and my DD check out the ducks in the lobby of the Peabody

I stayed there in March for a conference. Very nice hotel. Incredible service and rooms are on par with 3.5-4 star hotels in other major cities and vacation destinations.

Lots of marble in the bathrooms, free high speed wireless internet access is included. Service staff really go out of their way to see to your needs. My only complaint was of the slamming doors/noisy neighbor variety. Otherwise a very nice and very convenient (to Disney, USF, SW, shopping, etc.). Let me know if you have any specific questions.

It's a lovely hotel, and definitely a full four stars.

We had brunch there on Mother's Day, I took photo's of the decorations they had done, haven't had time to upload them yet though.

It is amazingly wonderful - upscale - you are treated like gold too.
I hotwired a night here for 80$.

Stayed there for 1 nite through Priceline $70. Nice hotel. Saw the duck march to the elevator. Good thing we were outside and witnessed part of the event since they sectioned off the fountain area for Mother's Day brunch and I didn't get to see the ducks enter the fountain. Viewing was more difficult inside.

I've stayed there several times and have always rated it as the best I-drive hotel.

If you had a reservation for brunch you were allowed to stand alongside the red carpet and watch.

No. I didn't have a reservation for mother's day brunch. My mother and mother-in-law are both deceased. I''m just saying that viewing was difficult. Others in the hotel were trying to do the same.
