PE Upstairs

Any VA expert know if/how many seats in PE up stairs get released for olci or before ?

Just did a late booking for Sept yesterday and the seat maps are unavailable.

I wonder if that is a glitch on the website at the moment because when you book PE, you should be allowed to select your seats at the time of booking. Did you book your flights direct through VA or as part of a package?

TBH, if you are upstairs, you don't really have any bad seats - some are nicer, but none of them are awful I don't think. There are only 2 seats in a row. When do you fly?

With Virgin 60% of the seats are available for pre-selection ahead of time. Once 60% has been allocated the system won't allow any changes or further allocation until OLCI at 24 hours before flight. I'd imagine this is whats happened in your case. Try to be online at exactly 24 hours before to snag an upstairs seat

Thanks - yes booked direct with VA for 12th Sept.

Am hoping the remining seats include some upstairs but know at this late stage they may all be booked.

They may be BUT in all my experience of OLCI for my mum I have never not managed to get her a seat in the upstairs cabin. IMO you'll be ok

I've been looking at this too for my flight on 19th Sept, but it's already showing all upstairs seats taken. Only showing 4 seats free on the entire plane!!!

As in my previous post, more seats will open up to you 24 hours before your flight at OLCI.
