My youngest niece just sent me an instant message that she was scared. I thought she was going to say because there are storms there and she is by herself because her older sister is at volleyball game/practice, Mom was there and Dad was out of town.
I asked her what was going on and she told me the school called and my oldest niece was on hte gym floor and could not move- did something to her back. They wanted to call for an ambulance.
My sister got to the school and apparently the trainers were able to get Christina (14 yrs old/ oldest niece) up and got her to my sister's car. They should be at the emergency room by now.
My BIL is out of town and they had someone come over to stay with my youngest niece (12) and her little brother. But, the person there is in high school...and well......my youngest niece is so scared that her older sister will be paralyzed. I explained to her that the trainers are very well trained and they would not have moved her had they been worried about that.
Anyway- any good thoughts that you could send would be appreicated.
OKAY- UPDATE_ I called my sister again after posting this and this time the call went through. They have not been seen, but apparently when Christina went to hit the ball over the net, she said she did something to her back (maybe pulled something) and that she almost immediately laid down on the gym floor crying that it hurt.

I hope it's nothing serious and that she recovers quickly.
