I was going to book a late breakfast at PCH Grill for our MHP date. We have a reservation for Anna/Elsa boutique at 1:00pm, then we can get in the park at 3:00pm.

The latest breakfast reservation is 10:50, restaurant lists a closing time of 11:00am. Does that mean we'll be rushed and won't have a good character experience? Or do they just stop letting people in at 11? I really wanted to spend like an hour or so with breakfast, so we could stroll through the shops before her makeover and not have a lot of time to kill. But if we are going to be rushed, I might just scrap breakfast all together, push the makeover to like 2:00 if I can and just find something else to do that morning (visit the beach maybe).

Have you had the "last" reservation and had a good or bad experience?

TIA!

Cassie

I wouldn't push your makeover to 2:00 if you want to enter the park at 3:00. If there was any kind of delay you could end up not getting in as early as you want.

Sorry, I can't answer your question about the breakfast as we haven't been to that one. I will say that many people spend an hour and a half at the character meals.

I can't personally say from experience, because I always do the first seating breakfast on our departure morning as a tradition. I do have a friend who swears by the last breakfast seating for the Surf's Up meal. She says as guests start filtering out the characters spend more time dancing and visiting with the few remaining kids, and she always has good experiences with it. I'm guessing by what I've heard that they stop seating by 11 but don't rush anyone out. I think your plan sounds like it is spaced apart very well, and MHP is such fun ~ I hope you have a great time!

We did a 10:45 reservation for Surf's Up this July, and loved the late seating. The characters stayed until all tables were finished, and did not feel rushed. After 11, there were only a handful of tables left so we had great character interaction.
