PC parking: prepay or on arrival?

PC parking used to be prepay. For anyone who has driven and parked recently, is it now pay upon arrival? Searched this forum but couldn’t find an answer (could be my limited search skills!). Thanks for any help.

Prepay ended several years ago. It was during Irma. several cruises were canceled and it was a pain getting refunds from the company. After that, prepay went away. You pay as you enter parking lot.

Just parked on Monday the 27th at the port and it was pay as you enter. Then you are directed to the testing center for your Covid test and then sent to park anywhere other than Level 1 (that's the testing area) to wait for your results. Parking for a 4 night cruise was $85.00

We just did back-to-back sailings on the Dream last week and can also verify parking at Port Canaveral is pre-pay. First, you'll be directed to drop off your luggage with porters alongside the terminal on the right. Then, you make an almost immediate left into the area that leads to the parking garage. There are 3 lanes to enter and each one is staffed by someone to help you process your payment. As mmouse37 said above, after you pre-pay, you will follow orange cones that lead to actually entering the parking garage building on level 1 where your Port Arrival QR Codes will be scanned. You are then directed to a parking spot on level 1 to complete your covid testing. Your Safe Passage QR code will be scanned at this time and after swabbing you'll be directed to park anywhere on level 2 or above to await Safe Passage notification (by email and on their website). Then, you just gather all your carry-ons, cross the street to the terminal building, check-in downstairs, go through security, up the escalators (or elevator), and wait in the terminal until your boarding number is announced. Easy peasy! :)

Incredibly helpful! Thanks to both of you. I’m not looking forward to waiting on those test results but we got protested this past Friday (all negative) and we sail this upcoming Friday, so fingers crossed!

Have a wonderful cruise!

Our results took 50 minutes. We parked so waited in our car for the results. I was getting nervous as they told us if you don't have results in 60 minutes you should call the number they give you.

Show your QR code to the guy at the entrance:

Waiting in the testing area for our testing packets and you will show your QR code a few times here and in the terminal:

Below is a pic I took from the ship of the entrance to parking garage. You pay at the machine under the white awning in the right of the pic. Then you make a left and go all the way down past the garage and loop around back past the garage and then you enter the maze of cones you see in the pic.
