Last year sometime I posted a link in one of the threads "upstairs" (it was in the "We need a way to identify..." thread) that lead to PC Magazine's Top 157 Free Software Programs of 2008. I went looking for it today and lo and behold, the good folks at PC Magazine have updated the list for 2009. Now it is up to 173 programs, all free: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2338803,00.asp
So if you need software for email, graphics, anti-virus, blogging, file management, etc, and you believe, like me, that FREE IS GOOD, have at it.
