Going b2b on the wonder, going to bring an unopened jar of peanut butter & jelly because a pb&j are the only thing I can be sure will bring up my blood sugar if it plummets, and keep it up.
My question is can I just leave the one jar of each in the room for when we come back or will I need two separate jars of each for each leg of the trip?

You can get Uncrustables from room service. They will still be in the packet so you can order a few on the first day when you get to your room and keep them in the fridge.

Want to avoid that if possible - uncrustables are almost inedible for me... just hate the flavor.

I would buy a box Jif to go individually sealed cups of peanut butter and get some of those individual jelly packets served at restaurants.
Great idea. If I had the same issue as OP, I'd probably go with the jars too. But your idea is much better.

Plus they can pop them in their pocket if they go off the ship.

No more on the Wish - I used to love ordering them as a late night snack. They no longer carry them :(

In august they did not have uncrustables in the wonder. The individual peanut butter cups are a great idea I used them on a road trip we took and was so much more convenient then lugging a jar.

I don't think they are gonna let you bring jars but as others have suggested sealed snacks are OK. Exact rules here:

Q:
What should I know about bringing my own food and/or ice chest on board the ship?
A:
In order to create a safe, healthy and enjoyable cruise experience for all our Guests, we ask you to take note of the following guidelines concerning bringing your own food and ice chests on board. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
You may not bring:
  • Homemade, precooked or perishable foods or open food containers.
  • Ice chests or coolers, except as noted below.
  • Electrical appliances such as rice cookers, hot plates, coffee makers, blenders, bottle sterilizers and bottle warmers
We do have a limited number of approved bottle warmers and bottle sterilizers available upon request through Guest Services. In addition, you can request hot water to be delivered to their stateroom at any time from room service.
You are welcome to bring:
  • Nonperishable snack foods in sealed, original packaging. All items must either be consumed prior to returning to your home port or remain unopened.
  • Breast milk, in carry-on luggage only.
  • Coolers no larger than 12" x 12" x 12" [30.5cm x 30.5cm x 30.5cm], as carry-on luggage only for storing medications, baby food or items related to dietary restrictions only.

I see no reason why you couldn't bring an unopened jar of peanut butter and jelly. With the Crustables (good or bad) not being available I bet there are a lot of parents who will do the same. Peanut Butter is a "non perishable snack food" and for you, almost a medical necessity. I am bringing some pretzels and nuts. Unopened, of course!

This is correct. You can bring unopened jars of peanut butter and jelly. Or the individual serving cups are a great option. You will probably not be allowed to bring the opened jars back off the ship at the end so buy small ones. The challenge may be bread, which you probably cannot bring onboard. However you should be able to get some at Cabanas, I know it's out during breakfast for toast. Bring a ziploc baggie so you can grab a few slices to keep in your stateroom.

My question is can I just leave the one jar of each in the room for when we come back or will I need two separate jars of each for each leg of the trip?
One jar of each should be fine. Are you staying in the same stateroom for the B2B or changing rooms? If changing rooms, just pack it in a bag that the stateroom host will move for you. If not changing rooms, no worries.

My wife uses Payday candy bars to keep up blood sugar. That would be a lot easier than a jar or peanut butter.

While on ship there is some food available almost anytime, so your only concern would be on excursions.

We're maintaining the same room... a little christmas gift for my pack hors... er I mean wife. But I knew at one point they were making us pack up when we got off - but that was back when you had to test between legs.

I could try paydays here at home first and see if it helps... it hadn't occurred to me because I can eat all the candy I want when I go low and it doesn't help. I end up doing what I like to call "chasing the dragon" - blood sugar dips eat candy haul it up - then it will dive again within half an hour so then eat more candy or juice, or something else sugary - goes up and then dives again. But since it might juts be the peanuts in the peanut butter that helps keep it up and stabilized, a pay day might be just the trick.

No more packing between B2B unless changing rooms.
DH's lows react like that as well, especially at night. You might also try pre-packaged peanut butter crackers. They come in 4-packs or 8-packs and easy to toss into a day bag.

Justin's has these fabulous peanut butter (several types of butters) in foil packets like ketchup. I love them for travel. You tear off a corner and you are ready to go. I love peanut butter on a banana as a travel snack and Justin's makes is so easy. Plus you can just eat out of the packet if no bread or banana is available.

Then you get it - chasing the dragon often leaves me feeling worse than the original low did. I take the it the peanutbutter crackers works for dh? Might also be nice to be able to throw a couple packs in the glove compartment. The last time things got bad I was out driving the backroads and all I could get my hand on was sugary drinks... bad overall situation.
