I just received a fake e-mail claiming to be from paypal security. When I opened the e-mail it asked for a great deal of personal information including bank accounts and PINs. The site looked real! I did NOT send any of this information. When I logged on to the real paypal site they instructed me to forwad the e-mail to spoof@paypal.com. Within minutes they replied to tell me that it was indeed a fake message and they would be investigating it.
Some tips I've learned:
Paypal will never ask for PINs of bank cards.
Paypal will address you by your name within the e-mail. (This e-mail did not in fact they had my account name wrong!!!)
Paypal has a toll free number you can call with questions.
If you suspect fraudelant uses on your account, immediately change your password.
Hope this helps someone else.

Thanks for the heads up!
No matter how many times she is TOLD NOT to do this. She is 43yrs old so she is old enough to listen. She has also deleted programs because she gets emails saying there is a virus. Her husband has given up fixing her computer and she has to have a seperate account for her ebay/paypal stuff because he is sick and tired of her foolishness!
