paypal question

sorry for all the ebay question guys

i normally accept money orders but i'm using paypal for the first time as a seller. when the buyer pays does the $$ just appear in my account or do i have to request it somehow because i saw a request money button and i'm not sure what it's for. help!!!!!!!!!!

It will show up in your PayPal account, and you can then send it to your bank account. That is what the request money button is for.

then here's one more for ya

the person already paid, it was super quick but now there is a column "action" with a ship button underneath. do i click the ship button when i ship to let them know i shipped the item or is that button for if is use paypals shipping?

I accept paypal all the time and never use the ship button. I believe it is just for your own personal account management. There's an area on there where you can keep track of your auctions, and the "ship" button would just mark the item as shipped.

If it has any other function beyond that, I'm not aware of it.
